"It's your day", I always tell my guests at the start of a tour. Some want a big lunch, others have a particular site they want to visit, or even want to do something unrelated to the tour they booked. Fine, it is your day.

Here are some of the questions my guests ask me before or during our time together.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before contacting you?
Not at all. Some guests arrive with a detailed plan, while others only have a general interest in history, a family story they would like to explore, or a few days available in the Netherlands. I'm happy to help shape the journey together.
How far in advance should I get in touch?
The sooner the better, especially during spring and summer. For family history journeys or multi-day itineraries, additional preparation and research may be required, so early contact is recommended.
Can you create a completely customised itinerary?
Yes. In fact, most of my journeys are tailored to the interests, pace and wishes of my guests. Whether you are interested in World War II, family history, Dutch culture or a combination of topics, I can design a journey that is uniquely yours.
Do you offer tours outside the standard journeys listed on the website?
Absolutely. The journeys on this website are examples of what is possible. If you have a specific battlefield, military unit, family connection or historical subject in mind, feel free to ask.
What happens after I contact you?
I will personally respond as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. We can discuss your interests, travel plans and any questions you may have. There is no obligation, and together we can explore the possibilities for your journey.
