Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a private historical journey? Here are some of the questions guests often ask before travelling.

  • Are all your journeys private?

Yes, when you book a journey with me you and your companion(s) will be the only guests travelling that day.

  • Can journeys be customised?

Yes, absolutely. You can contact me before we travel and on the day itself we will travel at your pace and with your interests in mind. It's your day!

  • Do you only focus on WWII history?

No. While WWII and remembrance are central themes, journeys can also include Dutch history, hidden stories, landscapes, culture and personal heritage.

  • Are multi-day journeys possible?

Yes. Multi-day journeys are one of the best ways to explore history in greater depth, with flexible pacing and fully customised routes. Look at my 'standard' offerings or get in touch to create your own journey.

  • Can you help with family history research?

Yes. Family history journeys are one of my specialties. I regularly help guests trace wartime stories, family locations, graves and Dutch ancestral connections. And if you want to know more about more distant ancestors I would love to help as well!
