I enjoy being a nature guide in nature, particularly the nature of South Limburg, and I want to lead my guests to what they want to know, experience, and see.

I am Anke van Geel and, among other things, a nature guide.

Because I was born and raised in South Limburg, I can tell and show more than just natural beauty. I also enjoy talking about the culture and customs of the stubborn and headstrong people that the Limburgers ultimately are. No Germans, no Belgians, no Dutch, just Limburgers with their own dialect, which I speak fluently.

From marl to coal, from the tri-border point, the Gulp Valley, the Geul Valley, the Meuse Valley, the higher plateau, I am happy to take everyone along.

My tours can also include cross-border Euregional discoveries.

Maastricht, Liège, and Aachen are cities where I enjoy spending time and visiting with my guests. And amidst all this, Limburg's culinary traditions should not be overlooked.

My expertise originated in the Bunderbos in the southwestern part of South Limburg. A beautiful Natura 2000 hillside forest that is at its most beautiful in spring.

A unique experience! *****

With Anke, you experience nature and the life around you like never before. She has a unique gift for seeing, hearing, smelling, and above all, feeling the life around her. Don't be surprised if she suddenly falls silent in the middle of a story because she notices something that remains hidden from ordinary mortals. The scent of a fox, the chirping of a bird, all signs of life from the smallest insect to the largest tree.

She speaks with infectious passion and love for her landscape. She also shows where the impact of people causes damage, and how a better, more harmonious way of living together is possible.

Anke is an inspiring guide who wants to show you much more than is possible in time. After a walk with her, you will never look at the life around you with the same eyes again.
